Stress can be our friend or enemy.
Stress can be our friend or enemy. Stress allows us to think and reflect what has been going on for the past few weeks/months/days. Don’t cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Lewis Thomas once said, “Mistakes are at the very base of human thought, embedded there, feeding the structure like root nodules. If we were not provided with the knack for being wrong, we could never get anything useful done. We think our way along by choosing between right and wrong alternatives, and the wrong choices have to be made as often as the right ones. We get along in life this way." Therefore make the most of yourself...for that is all there is of you."

reasons why commiting suicide is not the right choice
commiting suicide is not a good choice at all. Do you think by commiting suicide everything will be solved? Nope, I strongly disagree that commiting suicide can slove things. When there’s a will, there’s a way. Not all things will be unsolved forever. It will take time and effort to find its own roots and weeded it out. The process might be slow, tough and unbarring. But do not forget that there are friends, family members and your loves ones that care for you and supporting you. You can’t be so cruel to leave them suddenly. Find your ways out of that situation. Every trouble has its own seed.
If you have this commiting suicide midset, get rid of the commiting suicide mindset..okay??

remedies for stress 2(summary of tips)
In this article, we’ll take a look at several ways you can manage stress.
#1. One of the best ways to deal with your stress is to take up a hobby that will allow you to relax. You could listen to your favourite singers, or express your emotions through painting.
#2.you can do something productive and can keep your mind off of your emotions. Take for an example you can choose to play your favourite song over and over again, it will let your mind relax a bit and forget about the matter.
#3 You can also try lying in a darkened room with relaxing music playing and progressively contract and relax the muscles in your body. Start with your toes and gradually work your way upwards to the top of your head. It helps if you think of a place where you felt particularly happy, thus inducing a positive frame of mind.
#4. Often, if you want to learn how to manage stress, you want to be able to take a step away from your feelings and thoughts so that you can see the bigger picture. Taking up a hobby is a great way to distract yourself so you are better able to deal with things.
#4. If you are stressed out, one of the best ways to how to handle stress is to tackle the problems, situations, or people at the root of the problem. For example, as teenagers, we are often worried for our results; it doesn’t hurt to ask for help. You can approach your teachers or friends to help, I am sure they are willing to help you.
#5 As a teenager, you will often feel that no-one understands what you are going through, and that you are all alone in the world. The fact is that everyone was a teenager once. You may find parents, teachers or other adults more sympathetic than you might expect. If you don’t want to talk to an adult, try an older teenage friend or relative.Although they may not be able to help much, but they are sure make you feel better.
#6 You are confronting the issues that are upsetting you rather than hiding from them. Thus, if you are active in your problem solving, then you can take control of your emotions and learn how to manage stress.
#7. Taking time out to relax can clear the mind. You can take a day off from studies and go somewhere to play, for example beaches or catch a movie with your friends.

remedies for stress 1
-Plan Ahead
- Make a to-do list in order of priorities.
- Don't try to pack more into your day than you can cope with comfortably.
-Just say 'no' to unrealistic deadlines. There is no need to feel guilty if you have to change plans or arrangements because of an impossibly tight schedule.
- Finish the most important task before you tackle the next one.
- Take regular breaks. Short rests between periods of concentrated mental effort, particularly when you are frustrated with a project or are unable to move forward, can be refreshing and help you to refocus. Five minutes of each hour or 15 minutes every two hours allows a more manageable pace.
- Stop Living Beyond Your Means: Living beyond your means can actually make you sick. A researcher at the University of Alabama studied British census data on 8,000 households and found that families that tried to maintain lifestyles they couldn't afford were likely to have health problems.
-Sit up straight. A good upright posture improves breathing and increases blood flow to the brain. We often slouch when stressed, which restricts breathing and blood flow and can magnify feelings of helplessness.
- Learn to recognize your own symptoms of stress. These may include irritability, sleeplessness, social and/or sexual withdrawal, loss of interest in activities, and lack of appetite.
-Talk about stressful events to a friend or spouse before you reach a breaking point. If you can, let go and cry. Like talking, crying externalizes pent
-up feelings and may reduce the risk of stress-related illness. If you need extra help, seek counseling from a mental health professional.
-Recognize that some things cannot be changed and put your energy toward those that can.-Identify the sources of your stress. This gives you more choice in how you react. If necessary, make a note of the circumstances, and see if a pattern emerges. As you delve deeper, you are more likely to discover the root of your problem. This will allow you to solve it at the deepest, most effective level.
- Cultivate an optimistic attitude. Don't talk yourself into believing that you can't cope.-Reduce your exposure to events that tick you off. Go to the bank at an off-hour to avoid maddening lines. Mask outside noise by turning on relaxing music.
-Maintain a sense of humor about it all.Learn to express anger in a constructive way. Keeping anger within you adds to feelings of stress; blowing up in a rage is almost as bad. Simply being able to say "that makes me very angry" and working out ways of avoiding anger-provoking situations are positive steps in dealing with anger.
- Focus on others' rather than your own problems. If time permits, do a few hours of volunteer work each week.
-Exercise every day, even if you have time for only a brisk, 20-minute walk.-Stretch your chest for better breathing: The tense musculature of a person under stress can make breathing difficult and impaired breathing can aggravate the anxiety you already feel. To relax your breathing, roll your shoulders up and back then relax. The first time, inhale deeply as they go back, exhale as they relax. Repeat four or five more times, then inhale deeply again. Repeat the entire sequence four times.
-Get a Hand Exerciser: Keep a hand exerciser or a tennis ball in your desk at work and give it a few squeezes during tense times. When stress shoots adrenaline into the bloodstream, that calls for muscle action. Squeezing something provides a release that satisfies our bodies' fight-or-flee response.-Pop a bubble. A study found that students were able to reduce their feelings of tension by popping two sheets of those plastic air capsules used in packaging.
-Soak in a Hot Tub: Soaking in hot tub is a very good stress-reliever. We have covered this in detail elsewhere.
-Hold your breath. This technique should help you relax in 30 seconds. Take a deep breath and keep it in. Holding palm to palm, press your fingers together. Wait 5 seconds, then slowly exhale through your lips while letting your hands relax. Do this five or six times until you unwind.
-Pay attention to such signs of stress as a tension headache and stop what you are doing for a rest break. If possible, take a warm bath or treat yourself to a massage during periods of stress. If this is not possible, practice deep abdominal breathing whenever you feel muscular tension setting in.
- Don't neglect your diet. Start off with a breakfast containing protein and carbohydrates for sustained energy and don't let the demands of your day get in the way of lunch.
- Take a ten-minute holiday: Meditation is a great stress reliever, but sometimes it's hard to find the time or place for it. Take a mini-vacation right at your desk or kitchen table instead. Just close your eyes, breathe deeply (from your stomach) and picture yourself lying on a beach in Mexico or Hawaii. (Guided Imagery) Feel the warmth of the sun. Hear the waves. Smell the salt air. Just put a little distance between yourself and your stress. A few minutes a day can be a great help.
-Keep it Quiet or Down: If you work, live or play in a high-noise area, consider wearing earplugs. Make sure the ones you buy reduce sound by at least 20 decibels.
-Remember, on their deathbed, no one says, "I wish I'd spent more time at the office."

Ex-Bodyguard: I Saw Britney Spears Using Drugsposted Monday September 24, 2007 08:00 AM EDT
Sorces taken from http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20058350,00.html
A former bodyguard for Britney Spears – who worked for her after her release from rehab in March and was the much-hyped "secret witness" in Spears and Kevin Federline's custody case – is now making the media rounds, and he says he witnessed Britney using drugs on two occasions. "They were both in a nightclub in Los Angeles," bodyguard Tony Barretto, who protected Spears, 25, for two months before being fired, said on Monday's Today show. "The incident happened at her table. She had me hold up a curtain, to make her area private." Barretto, who also spoke to Britain's News of the World in an interview published Sunday, added, "The other occasion was when we escorted her to a private restroom upstairs which we secured for her. She was in there for some time alone ... I thought it would be appropriate to check on her. ... I observed this behavior." Speaking to Today host Matt Lauer with his attorney, Gloria Allred, at his side, Barretto was asked if he found Spears appearing to be "completely strung out" in a Los Angeles hotel room. Lauer also noted that Spears lives in Los Angeles, suggesting that her being in a hotel room in a city where she already lived qualified as questionable behavior. "Did you also see evidence of drug use in that hotel?" Lauer inquired. "I did," said Barretto, who said he was frustrated in not being able to step in and offer help. "It was almost forbidden to talk about her personal life," he said. "Britney doesn't listen to nobody. I mean, that's apparent."

Asked if he ever saw Spears use drugs or abuse alcohol in front of her children, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, Barretto replied, "I have never seen her use drugs in the presence of her children. ... Alcohol? ... I don't know if 'abuse' is the correct language. I have seen her use alcohol."
Last Tuesday, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon found that Spears is a "habitual, frequent and continuous" user of alcohol and controlled substances, and ordered her to submit to random twice-weekly testing.
Gordon also ruled that both Spears and ex-husband Federline, 29, may not consume alcohol or non-prescription controlled substances at least 12 hours prior to being with their children. Spears is also ordered to meet with a "parenting coach" at least twice a week for a total of eight hours, according to court documents.
On Friday, Spears was charged with hit-and-run causing property damage and driving without a valid license, said the Los Angeles City Attorney.
Allred said Barretto's only motivation for giving interviews about his former employer was because he's the father of two young children himself.
"In my personal opinion," said Barretto, "I'm just happy the judge has stepped in [to] help the kids."
Meanwhile, Spears spent the weekend in Atlanta, sources tell PEOPLE, confirming a report on Perezhilton.com.
"She went to Atlanta [Saturday morning] to get out of the chaos of L.A., just gathering her thoughts, looking for peace," a source said.

Your parents will be very upset. Y our friends might be emotionally effect, they will not focus on their studies. If you choose to jump off a building, someone will see the whole falling, that person will be very shocked. Some people tend to eat more than usual they met stressful things. Some people choose not to bother about their daily meals. This is not good for your heath.

siewyi's own experience
I am a sec 5 student. To be truth, when I first join kranji secondary I felt that some of the express students looked down on us. Normal academic(NA)/ Technical(NT) class is just meant for unless students who are lazily and rebel. However, it’s not true!! I was very regret for not studying hard enough for my PSLE. NA students are actually very hard working. I agreed that we tends to play a lot and caused our academic results not up to standard. I am taking my O’level this year, I am making sure that I will not repeat what happen to my PSLE. I had learnt from my mistakes. Past does not equal to the future. This year my prelims academic results were very badly done. Now I have to learn how to balance my play time and study time. This is my experience, I always did things last minute. When exam dates are getting nearer, I will get stress up as I knew I can’t revise on time for my papers. My advice for you is start to prepare ahead. You will feel more secure and confident when you are able to revise on time.

xinying own experience
managing stress? 'easy!' some of you may think. bet that these people have not been very stressed before.ok, maybe it is a bit easy, but still. there are many ways for managing stress, and each of us has our own unique way to hang on to 'normal life' as we know it. each of us is different. stress can come in many different forms, like peer pressure, homework, and even from parents and the people around us. we all have our own problems, and we may crumble if the stress overtakes us.
for me, i keep it to myself. i know that it's not healthy, so do not follow please. i keep it to myself because i can get over it fast. i'm giving bad advice over here, so sorry. listening to music is one way of getting rid of stress as it helps you to relax. i like it too, and it really works! the best thing to do is to talk to a reliable person about it. or you can talk to worry dolls, which are little dolls you make and tell all your vexations to.

weeping own experience
One of my own experience is i had not been studying for my examinations and i done badly for the examination.
I have been at lazy student since i am primary 1. Teachers have been chasing over my homework and spelling. When one day, my form teacher finally called my parents. I didn't know that she called my parents. On that day, my parents told me that they were very disappointed in me. On that moment, i thought that there are so many stresses on me that i hardly could not breath. I am only a primary 1 girl and i facing so much stresses that were on me. I could not disappoint my parents again, I have to study hard, I have to change my whole complete lifestyle so that i would not disappoint them.
that very next year i change my lifestyle and began to study everyday. I tried very hard to change myself. Although is not really the whole me , i change the most important thing of all - laziness.
Remedies for today:
Plan Ahead and Finish the most important task before you tackle the next one.

yee hua own experience
I believed that this happen to many of your.
As usual I had just arrived at school. When I suddenly remembered that there was a class test today.Desperately, i begun cramming for the test." I can't remember all these!!!" i cried as i flipped open my notebook for the notes. I knew it was too late to revise now, i just scan through my notes then my teacher stepped into the class..I felt very stressful at that time and i didn't know what to do...
This is an example of my own experience. I hoped to urge your not to follow my steps.
After that day i brought a handbook and jotted down any important information to remind myself.
If you are a forgetful person like me, maybe you should buy a daily planner or jot down on your school hand book.. :D

what casued teens to stress up??
What causes stress in teenagers.
Here’s a short list:
- boyfriends
- girlfriends
- poly
- college
- issues at home
- bullying
-Friends (peer pressure)
Many teens prefer to keep things quiet which only leads to more stress and more problems. But do you know that it’s normal to suffer stress occasionally. However, if it’s dominating your life then you really to sit down and work out a plan either by yourself or better still, discuss it with someone who can be very objective. The one thing you don’t want to do is keep bottling it up until you explode like a volcano. That the next few post we will be sharing our own experience about what stress that we faced.
